The Oestrous Detector allows you to pinpoint the exact moment of ovulation during the ewe's oestrous cycle, even in the case of 'silent heat.'
The detector monitors changes in electrical resistance of the vaginal mucus. Measurements are taken simply by properly inserting the probe in the vagina and taking a reading. No prior technical knowledge on the part of the operator is required. The big, easy-to-grip handle ensures that the instrument is not easily kicked out of the user's hand and the easy-to-read display makes reading the results more convenient.
Tested at the Obstetrics Department of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Agriculture and Technology in Poland; at the University of Giessen in Germany; and by thousands of breeders across the globe, the Draminski Ovulation Detector gives quick, easy, proven results.
The oestrous detector enables:
- A huge reduction in time and financial costs of multiple mating
- Identification of so-called “false heat”
- Elimination of problems associated with disorders during heat
